Expandi is seeking a talented individual to join us as a first Account Executive. You’ll work hand in hand with our Head of Sales to support Expandi’s exponential growth
What will the job look like?
Manage and build a pipeline from leads handed through to you by your Sales Development Representatives and our Marketing team, as well as your own self-sourced opportunities.
You’ll own the full sales cycle and be responsible for prospecting, qualifying and carrying out demo’s through to creating opportunities and closing deals.
Become an Expandi expert, master our product and know our platform’s features inside out. Understand our industry and be able to translate Expandi’s value to CEOs, CMOs, VP of Sales, and other targets across our market.
Work directly with our executive team and management across departments, from marketing to product through to success, feeding information through to each team to ensure we optimise our approach effectively for each sales opportunity.
Identify areas for improvement in Expandi’s and our competitors’ products, throughout the sales process, helping to inform our sales tactics and provide guidance to our product roadmap.
Learn and optimise new sales skills with regular account executive pipeline reviews and sales training sessions to continuously grow and develop yourself as a rockstar within the industry.
Provide guidance and mentorship to new account executives as they master our sales process.
- You have 2-5 years of closing experience in a B2B software or SaaS business, managing multi-threaded sales processes, and either SMB or enterprise deals
You love building human relationships, believe that a happy customer is our best evangelist and enjoy speaking with prospects in person, over a call and via email
You have experience with consultative, value-based selling and a proven track record of exceeding your targets
You have experience selling complex technical products/services
You have an entrepreneurial mindset, work autonomously, excel when solving challenges and are attracted to a fast-paced growing company.
Nice to Have
Experience working with a sales engagement platform or marketing automation platform for a B2B software company that focuses on selling to SMBs or Enterprise accounts, bonus; is if you have experience selling to Agencies and SaaS Sales Teams.
You have previous experience at a company in the scale-up stage specifically within B2B Software or SaaS.
You have experience selling to high-level executives and have discussed technical solutions.
You are familiar with our competitors and have an understanding of our platform or alternative marketing/sales automation-style solutions.
You are able to operate in an autonomous manner, are practical and work well defining your own structure.
